Surrounded by beautiful native trees and bush land, Aspen Court Motel Franz Josef offers guests free Wi-Fi. Opened in December 2013, the property offers heated rooms with a flat-screen TV. This was a very well-appointed accommodation, clearly not very old but still in very good condition. We had a spacious room, a comfortable bed, a good bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen - even a Nespresso machine. The property was about 5 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants in a quiet location.

Opened in 2014 and offering 20 luxurious rooms with free WiFi, Franz Josef Oasis is just 10 minutes’ drive from the Franz Josef Glacier. Really great! Personel beyon nice, big comfy rooms, clean. Beautiful area. Location is slightly outside the city so you are car-dependet but still, would stay there again.

The staff was great. They were responsive when we reported loud noise after hours. The room and bathroom are large and the kitchenette is well supplied. The bed is huge and very comfortable. There is not much of a view but you are located close to Woolworths and several fast food restaurants if you desire.
