Above all of this, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful about everything including taking us to our parking spot. All spoke excellent English if that’s important to you.

The room is comfy, spacious, with balcony. Although it is the center of the city - traffic and church nearby, all this could hardly be heard due to well isolated windows. Air conditioner is in place as well. Dedicated parking place in the basement free of charge.

Good room, very comfy with a beautiful view!! Quiet place. Spa was amazing!! Breakfast was very good!! We had dinner at the restaurant and at the Bar, good food and service! Overall staff was very friendly!!

Lovely stay in an interesting property with many features and artworks made by Pasqua who is the owner (also a talented guitar player and singer!). Very hospitable hosts. Penha Garcia is in a fine location with an interesting and scenic fossil walk in the village. Close to Monsanto also very much worth visiting.
