Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Oh, I am in love with this place: the room, surrounding area, service, food - all were perfect. We stayed in the room with the pool. It was cold to swim, obviously, but nice to look at. The view on the ocean and mountains is breathtaking. Sunrise paints your room in different colors, tiny birds play and sing on the grass in front of the house every morning. Perfect. And they prepared special tea ritual every evening for us.

Absolutely astonishing location in the forest, with two chickens and a lovely cat❤️ There was a pretty comfortable kitchen where we cooked breakfast. A complimentary welcome bucket was with the most tasty dairy which I had tried in my life. In general, the place is new, clean and very aesthetic

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. Everything was great. The pool/host spring and sauna were way better than expected. The breakfast was delicious. I loved the view from room. I will definitely go back!

In the heart of Ponta Delgada, this hotel features a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, mountains and the city. The marina can be found 500 metres away. The staff are absolutely lovely and so friendly.. they speak English well and try to accommodate all your requirements. they had a corkscrew and wine glasses when needed too! the breakfast is basic, no hot food but all fresh, ham, cheese, bread, rolls, pineapple, melon, cakes, yogurt, cereal and freshly squeezed orange juice, maracujá and red fruits juice, coffee and tea. The twin room had a bath and powerful hot shower, a bidet, big balcony with a side view of the sea and city, table and chairs. decor is dated and basic but you're gonna spend most of your time exploring the beautiful island! The hotel is kinda dated and smells like an old hotel but it's pleasant. they put up Xmas trees and decor in reception. so nice. Also there's access to a roof terrace with nice views of the sea, hills and city, which most hotels won't have location is great, close to everything in the centre, just 5-10mins walk

We were welcomed by the fantastic Ana who remained available for us during our stay. We loved the breakfast and warm bread delivered to our little house every morning.

The colourful Vintage Place - Azorean Guest House is located in S. Miguel Island, within a 5-minute walk from the historical Ponta Delgada centre. Good location - close to the center, 40-min walk from the airport. Free parking right in front. Great breakfast options. They have a fully functioning kitchen with microwave, oven, fridge and dishwasher if you want to cook yourself. Daily cleaning of the room and fresh towels. Great staffs, everyone was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay very much!
