Wonderful location, old world charm and such friendly staff. A bonus for me is that it’s family owned and not a chain! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone!

Spot on location for reaching shops and restaurants and very easy to get around.

The basic accommodation at Linnéplatsens Hotell & Vandrarhem all has shared bathroom facilities, as well as views over the park or the street. Some feature a balcony. The hostel was spotless in all areas. We liked all the plants in the lounge area and also appreciated the blankets on the outside terrace, which were especially useful when it was windy. The automated check-in system worked well. The kitchen was well equipped and it was a good idea to use numbered boxes for guests to keep their food separate. Location was slightly out of the city centre but next to a wonderful park.

No A/C, but its ok. I went in September. STAFF - 10/10, super friendly and helpful BREAKFAST - 10/10 - very convenient and varied... lunch meats, eggs, meatballs, sausage, bacon, bread, jellies and jams, fresh fruit, cheese... veggies... a wide variety of options. GENERAL ATMOSPHERE - 8/10 - Its NOT a luxury hotel, but it has great charm and the old elevator for 1 or 2 people is amazing. It also has a modern elevator. I really enjoyed my stay. LOCATION - 10/10 - Very convenient at 6 minutes on foot from the Convention Center.

Set between Kungsgatan shopping street and the Göta Älv River, this stylish design hotel offers a 12th-floor restaurant and Skybar. Stenpiren Station is just a 5-minute from the hotel and is connected by ferry, tram and bus. Very nice location, walking distance to the city center, the trams and ferries. Nice room with excellent view, superb breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is a bit outdated this did not disturb our stay. Highly recommend!
