300 metres from Varberg’s seafront, this modernised hotel with a stylish Cuban theme offers a roof-top terrace and free WiFi. Hotell Havanna also has a cigar saloon and bar serving a variety of rums. The style, the atmosphere, spa, bar, the quality of the rooms. It is a 3 star hotel which is far better to stay at than some 5 stars. They even have hair conditioner.

Situated right by Skrea Beach, Ocean Hotel offers free WiFi and sauna access. All rooms at Ocean Hotel include a minibar, an electric kettle and a flat tv-screen. What a superb hotel. We used it en-route from Norway to the UK. Situated right on the seafront, lovely and quiet and easy to get to from the motorway. The room was huge... I could have parked my car in it and still have had room to spare :-) The restaurant served delicious local food at very reasonable prices all served by a very friendly barman/waiter/receptionist. Breakfast also had an excellent selection. All this at an amazingly low price!

Hotell Gästis is located in an 18th century building in Varberg, 400 metres from the Central Station. It offers rooms with a private bathroom, flat-screen TV and free wired internet access. This hotel is a gem. So much to see, so much to explore. Books everywhere, so many lovely details in every room and every common area. Breakfast was very good, and it's only five minutes by foot to the sea and the train station.

Located in Tanumshede village, this hotel is 5 minutes’ drive from Tanum’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed rock carvings and Grebbestad. A must stay location! The best place I have ever been.

With a peaceful, yet central location in the coastal town of Falkenberg, Nya Pallas Hotel offers a lush garden. The rooms feature a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Clean and comfortable family suite (60m2) with lovely garden and good location in Falkenberg. Good beds and able to open windows to get in the fresh air. Great staff. Breakfast basic but delicious.

Nautic is situated on Marstrand Island, 100 metres from the seaside promenade and 5 minutes’ walk from the ferry dock. It provides free WiFI and en-suite rooms with a TV. Breakfast was delicious! We especially loved the outdoor seating for it. The room was very quaint and adorable, and the view was spectacular. The staff was very friendly with things like answering my questions about Systembolaget on the island, and also how there was a luggage room where we could keep our bags after checkout if we wanted to stay on the island a few more hours on our last day.
