This was the most beautiful incredible place I have ever stayed at. Jana, the host is so incredible and so interesting. She really takes care of you and she’s so much fun. She’s informative and very educated and we were both crazy about her. It’s along this beautiful crystal clear river with chairs right by the river and a 5 minute walk to Lake Bohinj. We plan to return. It is very special.

We are delighted that we chose these apartments! The owner is a very warm and pleasant person. The apartments are super clean and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony with mountain views is incredible. After hiking days, we would drink tea there in the evenings and watch the sunsets. The location of the apartments is also excellent: for those without a car, or wanting to take a break from driving - there's a bus stop just 50 meters away. You can walk to the town center with grocery store, restaurants, bakeries, and a bank. Bohinjska Bistrica is a small, quiet, and very charming town. There's no tourist hustle and bustle here at all. From this town, it's convenient to visit Vogel, Bohinj, Bled, and other attractions. We traveled extensively through the mountains, and this was an ideal place to stay. If we were to visit here again, we would undoubtedly stay at Apartments Mencinger!

The luxurious 4-star Superior Bohinj Eco Hotel is an oasis of peace and comfort set in Bohinjska Bistrica, at the edge of Triglav National Park, 6.5 km from Bohinj Lake and 20 km from Bled Lake. The relaxing massages. A place full of nature, very close to the lake and waterfalls. We were also able to go kayaking and visit Slovenian villages. The staff was also friendly and the accommodation was very clean.
