Built in 1925, the historic Eliot Hotel is located in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. It offers an on-site sashimi bar and elegantly decorated rooms with down comforters and marble bathrooms. Everything was smooth and the staff did an amazing job making us feel welcome.

Situated on Boston's historic waterfront, the Seaport Hotel® Boston features on-site dining and rooms with a flat-screen TV. The Silver Line Bus Station is conveniently located next to the hotel. Nice hotel in a convenient location in the Seaport district (the Silver Line that connects to Boston is just across the road), and proximity to the harbour meant nice sea views from our room. The large size of the room was a plus too, especially when some other Boston hotels are tiny— you'll have much space to open up your luggage bags and move around. It's a large building, and when you go up the staircase, there's plenty of space and it's decorated with artworks and bonsai plants. We were extremely hungry one night and the room-service pizza we ordered from the restaurant was delivered very quickly; it was delicious and the portion size made the price reasonable. There's a buffet breakfast on weekends, and the food was good—it even had honeycombs you could scrape the honey from. Overall, excellent and friendly staff from the doormen, reception staff and housekeepers. The large lounge area in the lobby with powerpoints and a fireplace for guests to work was a nice touch and helpful for us after check-out. Btw: if you prefer a hot water kettle instead of the coffee machine in the room, just ask the reception staff for it. We preferred the former to boil water, and the staff had one brought up easily.

This waterfront inn boasts an on-site marina that is filled with boats during the summer season. All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and views of the harbor or city. I LOVED the way one can get to the Inn by way of a Boston Water Taxi ride from Logan Airport! I LOVED the greeting I received at the Inn's dock. I LOVED the kind and enthusiastic reception I received upon arrival. I LOVED my room (King City View), with a surprise bottle of wine and biscoti waiting for me that first night---and the two Lindt truffles left each day by housekeeping. I LOVED that the inn is environmentally conscious (the still water bottles, recyclable coffee pods, etc.). I LOVED that my room had windows that open. I LOVED the entire staff's kind attention. I LOVED the location amidst a marina, so boats were coming and going to watch. I LOVED the intimacy of a lodging of just 10 rooms. There are many more things I LOVED, like the yummy morning breakfast delivered to my room, and the lovely rear of the building which faces the water, and which provides restful seating and evening for get-to-gethers with other guests. I LOVED being close to The Freedom Trail, which I walked in sections all the way and back, over my stay of a week. (If you have time, do not miss doing that---there is so much to see and learn about. I LOVED walking to the Museum of Art, as well---a bit of a hike, but walking is why I came to Boston in the first place.) All of these and many more wonderful things to say about this place----you will have to see for yourselves.

This historic guest house is located in Boston's Back Bay district, only 2 minutes' walk from the Hynes Convention Center and various shops along Newbury Street. The location is perfcect. It is near the center and everything that you might need, including groceries, cafes or restaurants is around the hotel. Furthermore, the staff is amazing, they are welcoming and are there to support you and help you out.
