This historic New Orleans hotel offers modern conveniences in a nineteenth-century town home within walking distance of Bourbon Street. Everything was awesome. Starting from the location … one block from Bourbon Street with its bars, music venues and restaurants … but completely quiet when one decides to retire from the nightlife. Beautiful suites with large living room, large bed room, kitchenette … the works. Large common space with a (smallish) pool. Very welcoming homely service

Situated in the French Quarter, this New Orleans hotel was built in the 1800s and provides simple rooms with coffee facilities. Guests are a 5-minute walk from Jackson Square. The location was ideal ! It was close to everything (shops, restaurants, must-see attractions), and very quiet at the same time. The room was comfy and clean. The outside was very pretty, with fountains, a sort of patio area, and a pool. Also, for people looking for an hotel that provides breakfast, know that it is really not a must in this area, as you have places that serves breakfast just next to the hotel, and Café du Monde is also located almost across the street.

Our room overlooked the courtyard and we couldn’t hear any of the nightlife happening on Bourbon. Great place to be able to walk and explore all around the French Quarter and beyond. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and fab shower. We chose the hotel because of the quaint decor and balconies and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

I loved this hotel. It was everything I hoped for... stylish, elegant with the wonderful atmosphere of yesteryear. The Carousel bar was busy but we did manage to secure a seat for a drink or two as it circled. And it is really convenient for anything in the French Quarter.

This is a really lovely bed and breakfast, with really nice amenities, including an in-ground pool and patio area. And I should point out that there is a daily breakfast included that goes beyond just cereal and pastries, there were egg dishes served while we were there. We got the Palmetto room which includes a private bathroom -- not sure if all rooms include that so make sure to check. The bathroom has a completely restored claw foot tub and old time shower attachment making it quite elegant. We were there over Halloween and the place remained quiet during sleeping hours despite being booked. You are ten minutes walk from the Frenchman neighborhood and there is a coffee house right around the corner as well. One of our favorite brunch spots, Horn's, is a walk away as well. The host is very responsive and quickly communicated by text when we had questions, including suggestions for places to drink and eat.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Hotel Royal New Orleans offers accommodation in the French Quarter, just 600 metres from Bourbon Street. The friendly staff at reception who checked us in. Also the room was upgraded to balcony room, really stylish and very very comfortable yet original. The location was excellent for shopping and close to walking to bourbon street and French street.
