I love the hotel. It has characters. Wonderful the displays around the hotel. The location is so close to everything. Easy access to the riverwalk is a bonus. Lovely little bar in the voyer.

The hotel is in the center of San Antonio, right next to the Alamo. It is an historical hotel; the oldest West of the Mississippi. It was well maintained with exceptional architecture and cleanliness. The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially Tim Smith at the front desk. There is a lovely buffet available for lunches and brunches; one needs 2-3 stomachs to try everything. The hotel boasts a pool and a garden that you can sit in to read your paper. What will strike you when you first enter is the lovely scent, which was especially designed for it. The hotel is definitely value for money, and better than most 4-star hotels in New York.

Adjacent to the historic Alamo and a 5 minutes' walk from San Antonio's popular River Walk area, this historic hotel offers guestrooms furnished with modern amenities. Location was awsome. So close to all the places we were going to visit. Slept like a baby.
