One of the most wonderful hotels we’ve ever stayed in offering the best of South Africa. Just pure class. The rooms, the staff, the spa, the food. 5 star all the way. We’ve spent a lot of time in SA yet we were all absolutely wowed by this place. Didn’t want to leave. Also worth mentioning that this place doubles up as a high end hospitality training school giving opportunities to the local community and training them up to work in tourism.

Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Wow, what an amazing experience to stay at The Fernery. This is one of the places we will remember for a long time. The setting of the hotel was fantastic. The Jacuzzi and Hot Tub ambiance also fantastic. The breakfast by wide margin the best in South Africa. Dinner was also very good and fairly priced.

Louise is a wonderful host, friendly and helpful, and full of information about the property and the area. The breakfast is hearty, healthy and delicious! The property has a lot of charm and is beautifully appointed. The gardens are manicured and tastefully laid out. Overall, out short stay at Dio Dell Amore was very enjoyable and relaxing.

Woodall Country House & Spa is a 5-star property offering luxury accommodation and gourmet cuisine in a peaceful location. The guesthouse is close to Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve. The entire experience from room comfort and cleanliness to the fabulous restaurant food at breakfast and most specially the dinner...exceptional! On our first night we had one of the best meals of our entire 6 week trip throughout South Africa! The manager, Fred, and his staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We were visiting on the last two days of the season, and we loved the property, very private and safe, and the grounds were charming. We will look forward to a future visit and highly recommend the property when visiting the Addo Elephant park and the region!
