The location is perfect, close to town if you want to walk in but far enough that it is not too noisy. 400 meters from the beautiful cliff path walk. The staff are all very welcoming, especially Teressa who helped us to book a Whale Watching tour last minute when ours was cancelled and provided us with great recommendations for local routes and markets for our onward journey. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had excellent pressure.

This hidden gem of a place, just off the highway (R60) and only minutes from the center of town, has only 6 rooms, is solar powered, and is set amongst a beautiful, lush garden. The room was lovely, had a large bathroom with both a shower and a tub, and had an outlet near a mirror in the bedroom so one can do their hair. (There are no electric outlets in bathrooms in South Africa.) This was the only time in our three weeks in South Africa, that we had a hair dryer. Along with your room key, you get a driveway gate opener. One needn’t worry about safety here. I wish we had planned more time to just hang out.
