The breakfast is amazing! It’s such an extensive buffet with loads of options (cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad, pastries and bakery goods, selection of fresh artisan breads, a hot buffet with the usual suspects, waffles/pancakes and eggs made to order). The rooms are a good size and the bed and linen is incredibly comfortable. I loved having a bath tub as part of the bathroom set up. The staff are incredibly warm, helpful and friendly. They helped me get a doctor when the cold I caught in transit wouldn’t get better. I ended rebooking to finish off my stay in Cape Town here.

The location was great, the staff are exceptional with a special shout out to Jimmy who went above and beyond looking after us. We were lucky to stay in room 502 on the top floor, which was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect, we had no complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Grenadine. The hosts are beyond friendly and the rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The garden is amazing and peaceful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it’s safe to walk there. The breakfast was amazing.

The ah! Guest House is situated in the fisherman’s village of Paternoster, 6 km from Cape Columbine Lighthouse. It features air-conditioned rooms with and free WiFi in the rooms and public areas.

Fantastic welcome from Arnold Hoon. We were given a lovely bedroom upstairs with great facilities facing the veld. It had all the amenities needed from gorgeous fragrant toiletries to coffee and tea-making facilities; all well-spaced and compact. On the same level, we shared a charming terrace with other guests to have sundowners enjoying a view of the sea and beach. The ah! Guest Lodge is only about 150 metres from the sea. Safe parking outside and is within walking distance of restaurants and some shops. We had great assistance with our flat car battery. Although we had to leave very early the next day, we delved into a fabulous fresh fruit breakfast and coffee. Good value. What a charming arty guest house. Loved it! We would certainly stay here again and stay longer.
