It was out of town which was a lovely change. Beautiful little village with a tram line that goes into Innsbruck. Apartment was cosy, clean and comfortable. kitchen was really well equipped for cooking. The views were gorgeous. The family who runs it were very friendly, even did our washing for us!!!!

The Mitterhoferstraße was the best accomodation we have stayed in in Europe thus far. The value for money was phenomenal and don’t even get us started on the buffet breakfast that is included in the cost of the room. There was a huge variety of food on offer at the buffet and we particular enjoyed the fluffy scrambled eggs, herbed button mushrooms and fresh smoked salmon. The rooms were clean, warm (we travelled in the middle of winter) and offered sweeping views of the surrounding alpine region. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and transport from the Innsbruck was seamless with 2 bus lines and 2 tram lines as options. The welcome card was also such a plus. The proximity of the hotel to the ski mountains was ideal for our trip. It is just a short 25 min walk to reach the lifts. We highly recommend this stay for anyone coming to Innsbruck.

The Hotel Sonnhof is located 7 km from Innsbruck near the centre of Mutters, at the end of a quiet, private road. It features its own indoor swimming pool and a sauna.

We had an amazing time at Hotel Sonnhof. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the balcony had an excellent view on to the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary Innsbruck Welcome Card also made travel around Innsbruck free! The swimming pool was unfortunately being renovated when we were there, but the sauna was lovely and a great place to wind down after a long day out. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a short 4-5 minute walk to the tram stop; the tram comes every 30-60 minutes (depending on time of day) and takes around 25 minutes to get into the centre of Innsbruck. Overall we had an incredible time and would definitely stay again!

Very good beds, good sleep, amazing view, clean, very helpful staff and a very diversified and very good breakfast. He had a little problem with the door in our room, the receptionist very quickly helped us with a new room, even an upgrade, so we can enjoy our stay without any small problems. This is very good customer service, recommend this hotel to everyone, would stay again for sure.
