I had the pleasure of staying in an apartment in the heart of the Austrian Alps, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking peace, comfort, and breathtaking views. The apartment was spacious, with a cozy bedroom and a separate living room connected to a well-equipped kitchen—perfect for a romantic getaway, family trip, or a vacation with friends. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the balcony with a mountain view was definitely the highlight of this place. Every morning, we could admire a picturesque landscape that took our breath away—a real treat for nature and mountain lovers! The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help, making us feel truly well-cared for. This location is perfect for both active vacations, with numerous hiking trails and ski slopes nearby, and for relaxing moments with a book on the balcony. The hotel fully met our expectations, and even exceeded them. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the magic of the Austrian Alps in comfortable surroundings!

Unexpectedly spacious room, comfortable beds, large balcony, friendly and humorous staff. Simply magnificent views from the window (if your room overlooks the mountains). (Perhaps some furniture is a bit old and visibly worn, but still acceptable quality).

Beautiful large old hotel, that dates back to the 1500s. Large room, comfortable beds, great Wifi, and charming owners and staff. Excellent fish dinner, good coffee and lovely architecture. Has a free sauna and steam room on request, which was very clean and refreshing. They got us cards to get into an excellent local swimming pool for half price too. Would recommend it, and we hope to come back.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile — something you truly appreciate after a five-hour journey. The rooms are stunning, with a magical atmosphere and a breathtaking view of the castle. Honestly, the price feels almost too low for what the hotel offers. You can also book tickets for both castles directly through them, and they’ll hand them to you the next morning — super convenient. They offer the possibility to dine at their restaurant as well. We arrived too late for dinner, but they still prepared a tasting platter for two with sausages, cured meats, cheese, cherry tomatoes, and plenty of their delicious homemade bread. We couldn’t even finish it! Breakfast was absolutely outstanding — calling it “complete” would be an understatement. All in all, highly recommended. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be the flies — they’re everywhere. But hey, we still haven’t figured out how to control insect minds, so…

Location was amazing and easy to find. The room was fabulous. Best sleep I’d had in two weeks. Air conditioner which I didn’t expect. The host was amazing. Full of historical information and tips to improve my stay. Kitchen had everything you would need.
