The apartment is really new and clean. Check-in, though contactless, was a breeze and very smooth. Special thanks to all the staff who responded very quickly when we discovered no water in the bathroom’s flushing system. A big thank you to the friendly staff who came by our apartment to fix the problem. The issue, from first point of contact via messaging to resolution, took only about an hour! Kudos to the staff 😊. We will definitely come back again when we next travel to Salzburg.

Hotel Gasthof Brandstätter is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. A beautiful building, a lovely room, great service. My room was quiet, there was none of the door-banging and corridor noise you often experience in many hotels. The staff were absolutely fantastic - very friendly and very helpful. My room was spotlessly clean. Very easy access to the city centre via a regular trolleybus. Breakfast al fresco looking over to Untersberg is wonderful! I will definitely book again :)

We loved everything about Gasthof Maria Plain! We had no idea where it was located in relationship to Salzburg, but we had admired the church from the road as we came in. Imagine our surprise when we saw we were going up that hill towards the church. Parking was easy & convenient. The second surprise is that the hotel had its own charming Christmas market. The rooms were clean & comfortable, & every room had a breathtaking view. The fact that we arrived after a big snow storm just added to the beauty. It was a short & inexpensive cab ride to central Salzburg. The restaurant had a good menu, great food & reasonable prices. Breakfast was very nice. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We will be back next spring!
