A very old historic building of the 14thC. Neat and spacious common areas, good sized bedrooms; down feather amenities; logo slippers, gowns, and ten out of ten heating; very clean spa. Linen change as you wished and towels daily. Breakfast: it was above and beyond with fresh produce and a full basket of local dishes, Austrian hams and cheeses, scrambled eggs, fluffy viennese croissants, vegan & vegetarian diets, breads, desserts etc and a large assortment of juices, teas & coffees. Lunch and dinner: it was a pleasant experience too. The service of the staff: was excellent with very polite staff available to assist you in any in-house enquiries to suggestions for outdoor experiences. Location: location was value for money! Hotel in a small village, next to a large market center, a 14min drive to Salzburg Old Town and a 45min drive to the closest ski resort. We would definitely return to this gasthouse.

The room is perfectly designed. I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels. This Hotel was the most welcoming one. The room tempreature was adjusted to the cold winter weather outside and it was warm and welcoming. The hotel'facilities like Indoor pool, spa, etc were excellent to get relaxed and gain energy for the next day. The Breakfast was by far the best one I had in Austria.

Laschenskyhof Hotel & Spa, with its comfortable lounge and sun terrace, is famous for its excellent, traditional meals which are served throughout the day.

The room was quiet. There were blackout curtains on the windows, the mattress was firm and the pillow was big, soft and wery comfortable. We had an own air heat pump for the temperature control. There was a small fridge for our snacks to stay fresh in the room. In the evening there is no restaurant in this BB place, but you could buy exellent kebab from the same street or use the restaurants in the hauptbahnhoff. In the morning the Houses delicious breakfast will keep you going long. We bought so called Salzburg Cards from the reception and the man there was wery helpful about how to find the attractions we want to visit.

Hotel Gerl – urban soul meets alpine vibes Just two minutes from the A1 and 15 minutes from Salzburg city centre lies the 4-star Hotel Gerl in Wals – quietly located but easily accessible.

The hotel is as perfect as it gets. The location was perfect as everything was close by including the airport (5 minutes away). The hotel itself was very clean and had amazing facilities provided. The customer service level was incredible, especially from Steffie, who had checked us in and gave a tour of the hotel. A hideaway in the middle of the city. The charming boutique hotel has been family-run for three generations and is a pioneer of the common good economy.

Hotel is very close to the city center, but very calm and cosy, so you can nicely relax after long day spent sightseeing. We enjoyed nice breakfast and comfy rooms.
