Beautiful hotel, very original in conception. Wonderful location, just on the old Macquarie wharf at Hobart's tourist port. Excellent organization and careful management by the hotel's team. Closely linked to the history of the city of Hobart, whose colourful characters are finely sketched on the doors of the rooms. Excellent food at the "Old Wharf Restaurant" and very fine selection of Tasmanian gins, whiskies and vodkas at the "Evolve Spirits" bar.

The staff behind reception were exceptional. Even escorted us to our room on the top floor. Spotless rooms, huge comfy bed and lots of little extras. We had a few things from the mini bar, it was very reasonable. We also love The Long Bar! This is my favourite hotel.
