Central location, great base to explore Gent from (especially during Gentse Feesten). The family room is a bit dark, but spacious and comfortable. Quiet enough to not be bothered by any street noise. The heated swimming pool was a nice bonus.

De Waterzooi is simply a wonderful B&B. Excellent location with a view on the castle with easy access to anything in the centre of the city. Personal welcome by the owners with a guided tour of the amenities by the lady of the house. Every detail is being taken care of and this with a lot of taste to please your general wellbeing. In the morning you will be be able to enjoy a superb breakfast with fresh and homemade products. We simply loved it and this includes the wonderful hosts of the Waterzooi.

A beautiful building in the middle of Ghent with a very comfortable bed, modern bathroom, super nice staff and delicious french pastries from their own bakery. City can be easily explored by feet and public parking is nearby. We would definitely come again!
