De Haan must surely be one of the best preserved Golden Age seaside towns in the world, you feel as if you have walked into a French Impressionist painting, such a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the Belgium coast. Steps away from the action, and on the way to the beach these are whole streets lined with amazing grand mansions. At Masion Rebelais you are greeted with an invitation to sit to enjoy a tea/coffee and homemade cake in the lounge or terrace. The rooms are cute, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional, service is attentive & nothing is overlooked, you are even invited to return for afternoon tea if you’re still in the area. A stop on the coast not to be missed.

Nils was a very warm and thoughtful host, very responsive. The flat had absolutely everything we needed, it was spotless, cosy and bright. The pool was such a great way to end the day. we loved everything!

Excellent rooms, very well designed and decorated (even the smoke detector had a special design) and all facilities were in place. It is a very new hotel but all was running smoothly. They put a lot of thought in the rooms and hotel and the staff carry the pleasant vibe as well. Warmly recommended.

Hotel Rubens is located a 3-minute walk from the beach of De Haan and near the woods. The hotel has a charming little garden with a terrace and a swimming pool.
