Excellent location just a couple of blocks away from the main town square and an easy walk to the bus station.
The buildings, facilities and the room itself are all very well-restored and well-maintained, which definitely adds to the charm of the pousada and makes for a more relaxing place to come back to. Nice touch to have chocolate placed on your bed every day.
There are many quaint seating areas located throughout the property for you to relax in.
The staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome - You really appreciate the personalised service they provide to help make your stay more pleasant. Thanks in particular to Kauã, Filipe and Alessandra at the front desk, who were all especially helpful.
The breakfast service is also fantastic, giving you the option to have some food made to order. Even for the buffet side the food is of a high quality, including the homemade yoghurt, and something as typical as pineapple slices were elevated by adding lime zest on top.
Overall, you may pay a bit more to stay here than many other places in town, but it's well spent.

Beautifully decorated pousada (didn't get a chance to use the very inviting pool). Breakfast was best in Brasil for us! Our favourite fresh fruits and an introduction to many local pastries.... Junior, João, & the lady who served breakfast, were so helpful and pleasant. Casa Simone Pousada in Paraty is definitely worth a stay.
