Great staff and high quality services. The view is outstanding and will be the highlight of our trip. The restaurant was very good even we were on diet. It takes about 30 minutes from Copacabana by UBER, however it is a relaxing and calm place, therefore I preferred....It is highly recommended.

Before coming to Rio, I was a bit worried about safety, but this hostel completely put my mind at ease. It has its own secure entrance, which made me feel very safe. The metro station is just a few minutes’ walk, making transportation super convenient. There are several supermarkets nearby, which is very handy, and the beach is only about a 20-minute walk away—perfect for a stroll or relaxing. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely choose this hostel again next time I visit Rio!

This pousada offers an amazing terrace. The owner runs the house with love, making you feel like you are part of a big family. You can be by yourself, but also meet pleasant staff and other travelers or cariocas in the common areas x You feel like you are in the rainforest and at the same time in a retreat. There is a large kitchen and everything you need to cook. A wide variety of people stay here. However, the accommodation is a little out of the way in a safe and sweet authentic area. There is also a quiet beach nearby and you are more likely to relax here than on Copacabana or Ipanema Beach. Unless you want more action.

Everything. We spent our last night in Rio in Casa Geranio. It’s definitely worth and it is a completely different experience compared to our hotels in Rio. Comfortable rooms, amazing fresh breakfast, excellent staff, welcoming atmosphere. The building is amazing.
