Very cozy area the area is very accessible to the local bus stops to go to the city centre. The owner was very accommodating and went out of their way to provide us with anything we needed. Sue gave us any cleaning supplies we needed and cleaned our accommodation during our stay as we stayed for a longer period

This was a last minute booking and it worked out really well for me.I would call this hotel a little fringe because the location isn’t everyone’s cup of tea..for me it is perfect,minutes walking distance from Commercial Dr. a bus runs regularly past it to go downtown.You can walk but you do enter into sketchy territory just be aware is all.The hotel restaurant has a fabulous chef..and very good beer on tap!…lots of cool people working there.The hotel itself might seem a bit worn but we are talking vintage 1940’s here …very clean and safe and all adorned with a landmark vintage sign!
And if you are lucky yiu will be there when the the fabulous Tiki Bar is open.
Might be my new home away from home when I go to the big city!

The breakfast is excellent. We enjoy very much.
Due to typhoon-related flight delays, the reservation service helped with the change of stay day.
