The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was simple but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice with homemade bread and plenty of savoury and sweet options. A really good stay.

The Hotel de la Paix is near Lake Lugano, about 1 km from the city centre and the train station. It offers an out-door pool, free WiFi, free parking on site and free minibar use.

We enjoyed so much the Hotel installations and the staff. The breakfast was so good - in line with everything at the hotel - as well as the restaurant.

The 'Welcome' chocolate block was a pleasant surprise and the staff were extremely accommodating. When my power adaptor didn't fit in the sockets, the front desk were very quick to loan me one.
