We had an amazing view of the lake from our room. The room was big, the shower was great with an absolute high pressure of the water. The breakfast had a good amount of choices between English and Italian foods.

The location was great, near Parco Ciani, city centre and many restaurants around, 14 min walk to train station Very clean room, comfortable bed The staff was amazing, they even helped my husband to surprise me with cake, prosecco and balloons for my birthday

Such a lovely hotel. Perfectly situated on the waterfront in Lugano's old town, the fairly unassuming exterior only hints at how nice it is inside. There's a beautiful garden with an outdoor pool, a giant chess set and lots of corners to sit and enjoy a drink whilst drinking in the view. Inside, there is a lavishly furnished lounge area with a well-stocked 'honesty bar'. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole stay was a delight. I only had a small room this time without a lake view as it was the last room left, but my colleague had a balcony and said it was fabulous. Would love to come again!

This family-owned hotel is centrally located just a short walk from Lugano town centre and its breathtaking lakeshore, and the famous Piazza Riforma with its many sidewalk cafés.
