A large apartment, very warm, with a lot of deposit spaces and all the facilities, at a fair price. An amazing view to lake Thun and snowy peaks. Private parking in front of the house. Private entrance. House is in a quiet area, 5 minutes driving from Thun, a lovely town, with two picturesque castles. Good communication with our host, although only by whatsapp. Sometimes, minor problems with hot water, maybe due to heating programme, but not disturbing.

The 3-star superior Hotel Restaurant Bellevue au Lac lies directly on the shore of Lake Thun in Hilterfingen by Thun. It was built in 1918 and offers modern renovated hotel rooms with free WiFi.

The staff at hotel excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We would have preferred a front lake view of the lake but the side view was just fine and good view of the lake. Room was Ok. Bed not very comfortable, mattress a bit lumpy and duvet also lumpy. Beautiful view. A nice holiday.

Location is amazing , lake view is refreshing when you wake up. Car park is very convenient. Hotel is located in very nice and pleasant area.

Staying in a chateux was fantastic even thought the interior was modern. Staff was very kind and helpfull. The room and toilette were clean. Breakfast was perfect.

The location is amazing. The fact that we had the panorama pass for free bus rides was perfect for the location. Being able to start the day with hot breakfast and a glass of Prosecco was wonderful. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Overall, we had a great stay at a great hotel.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, they tried very hard to fulfill all my needs and requests. Everything was super well maintained and comfortable. The spa area is also super comfortable. Breakfast was also great and with a huge options. I’ve nothing to fault the hotel.

Muna and Lucien were extremely kind and nice with me and my daughter. They cared about every detail and made us feel as comfortable as possible. They even got some toys for my daughter so she could have something to play with during our stay. The breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options to choose. Gorgeous location & views, very close to public transport which is also free with their local transport card, close to shops too. Spotless and clean, large bathroom and balcony which isn’t common in Europe. Very comfortable bed, bedding and towels. Good wifi. Great restaurant downstairs. No minibar in the rooms but there is a large communal fridge where we kept our wine etc. Easy check in/out process. All ammenities listed were included. From memory this hotel had the 6 sided/elongated diamond adapter with the three prongs but a few countries we visited used either so you should prepare to travel with both anyway, we were able to get one from the shops easily as we forgot to get both at the airport.
