Swiss Airline cancelled our flight back Singapore last minute at 11pm+. Sadly, we had to find accommodation on our own. Otherwise, we will be stranded in the airport together with my elderly parents and 5yo kid, as no accommodation was provided by the airline. We were lucky to find Holiday Inn at Messe, and were able to check in at 1am. Front desk staff went extra miles to add an extra bed for our 5yo kid in our room at 1am without the housekeeping team.

Hotel Sternen Oerlikon is just a 5-minute walk from Zurich-Oerlikon Train Station, the Hallenstadion (indoor stadium), and the Messe Zurich (exhibition centre).

The tram stop is right outside, which is really handy as takes from the tram roughly 20 minutes and then you are in the city center/old town. The hotel is also very nice but bare in mind parking on site is limited, however the hotel staff advised me to park at a reasonable parking nearby (2 min walk), and they also offer discount on the parking price for this parking lot. Overall well worth it, if im ever returning to Zurich I will stay here. Highly recommend.

The Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North is ideally located between Zurich City Centre and the Airport and can easily be reached by public transports within a few minutes.

Fabulous hotel. Great location for Halle 622. Two minute walk away. Lovely room. Best bed ever slept in. Fantastic shower. Really recommend this hotel. A huge mention to the receptionist(Sagie ?). He was dealing with a group of people before us who were quite difficult. He was so professional with the way he dealt with the situation. Clearly in the right job.

Stayed here for 5 nights in total in Zurich. Loved how comfy the beds were and the shower was fantastic! Buffet breakfast was very good for European standards. Location was fabulous. Staff were all super friendly, especially the lady with long hair at breakfast manning the egg station. Food was also adequately replenished. We will be staying here next time we are back in Zurich.

The apartment was clean and as described. It was not very old, but it was also not modern. The beds are comfortable but the bed-sofa was not very comfortable. Communication was good and fast. Self-check in was also very easy.
