Karen (the host) is outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. She gave us lots of local tips such as cafes & restaurants that proved to be fantastic. She was always available to be contacted and went out of her way to assist. Pilar (another lady at reception was also wonderful. Small boutique hotel in handy part of tourist Valparaiso; huge rooms; breakfast delivered to your door; great advice given. Good wifi.

The location in a pedestrian street, right in the middle of everything: sights, cafes and restaurants. An excellent place if to want to enjoy the Valparaiso vibe. We loved the clean and airy house with a relaxed atmosphere, music theme, hardwood floors, and - most of all - the roof terrace with sliding windows and the best view in the town! In hot weather it also helped to cool down the house. The terrace is actually a breakfast/dining room with dishes, fridges, a kettle and a microwave. It felt wonderful to sit there in the morning and watch the city waking up and at night enjoying the view illuminated with millions of lights. Currently the hotel does not offer breakfast since there are many cafes around. Alternatively you can buy your croissants and help yourself to the free (instant) coffee or tea of the hotel. I would also like to praise the staff who were always cheerful, friendly and very helpful. We appreciated the opportunity to choose our room and picked a room with the largest bathroom, facing a quiet back street. The rooms were cleaned and towels replaced daily, the shower was excellent and the bed was very comfortable.

CasaBlu is a wonderful place to stay. It's in a perfect location, with lovely views over the city. The staff is super friendly and professional. Breakfast was great, the room was comfortable and cosy. The building is beautifully furnished and decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. I loved my stay there, definitely recommend!

Nice selection, best fresh fruit salad I have ever had! Eggs to order. First night was a holiday so many restaurants closed. evening staff made us an amazing charcuterie plate and delivered to the room at 9;30 pm!!! Decor and colors soothing and lush

We originally were in a separate lofted room when it was a group of three of us and then shifted to room #5 that had a view of the water and a large tub and king sized bed. If you’re a couple, I definitely recommend room #5, it’s gorgeous and the tub is amazing.

Set in a stately 1920’s big house, Hotel Casa Higueras features a swimming pool overlooking the bay, and a spa. There is a restaurant, and free WiFi is provided.
