One of the best hotels I've been to so far, and the best in China. The staff was fully fluent in English, super helpful, Frank, Kimberley and Joey did an amazing job and went out of their way to help. The hotel also provides a great tour desk to visit the places around Chengdu and the hotel itself is very well located in a very nice street, a few minutes away from the subway and about 5/10mn walk from some traditional streets! I'm definitely staying here again on my next trip!

Great hotel with fantastic food (try the evening buffet) and very kind and thoughtful staff.
We had a small issue with our room, which can always happen, but manager on duties Michelle fixed it with top professionalism, precision and eye for detail.

Thank goodness for this hotel, I think we would have gone home early without it - an absolute sanctuary of cleanliness and comfort in Chengdu. The male manager could not try to be more helpful despite language barrier. Attention to detail in the design and a very cool, Japanese aesthetic.

Buddha Zen Hotel is a beautiful facility & we had a gorgeous room - very comfortable suite with full living room and bedroom with a large canopy bed, there was a big shower, also bedroom and living room balconies..
We were in a lively, tourist neighbourhood with 2 temples - can be very busy with tourists, but you are still able to worship.
There is lots of street-side and in-store shopping and there's great food everywhere you go!
The Metro (very easy) is also just 2 blocks away, with the most amazing sandwich shop just behind the 'K' entrance on street level - you'll probably see a line-up and it's worth it!
Buddha Zen was a really nice place to stay, and hosted us while we explored a great area in Chengdu. Thank you!

Looks beautiful from the outside, with lovely relaxing water features. The hotel is also located on a beautiful road really close to a subway station and within walking distance of the Kuanzhai Alleys. Rooms were modern and made us of technology well. Staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was a nice spread of both Western and Chinese stapled, with the option to have a fresh bowl of soup noodles made for you!

It was absolutely neat and comfortable. They offered all you needed for your stay and were very eager to help with questions. Breakfast is wonderful, it has a great variety of options. I couldn’t try all what I wanted. They also have advice and special cultural events worth checking out. It is very central and close to areas of interest.
