From the first second we got a great impression from the hotel service manager Mr. Chen who was very helpful with all our questions - and even upgraded our room without cost when we asked for a room with a good view of Chongqing. The staff present at the hotel was also very helpful and kind, the room was as good as you’d hope. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’re a foreigner traveling China who could use a bit of extra help from a native Chinese.

Good location, not too far from metro, shopping mall and popular public areas. Rooms are on floors 16-20 so nice views in general. My room was also quite large with huge bed, and bathroom had both shower and bathtub. Very good wifi. Large selection of foods for breakfast. Friendly staff.

What sets this hotel apart, however, is the outstanding staff. From day one, they were exceptionally helpful, explaining in detail all the activities in the Zhangjiajie area, creating a complete visit plan for us, and arranging tickets. Their hospitality went far beyond expectations: when we asked if they had a basketball for the nearby court, they didn’t, so they went out and bought one within minutes. Later, when we lost an item in a Didi, they immediately contacted the driver and arranged its return, sparing us significant trouble and expecting nothing in return.

The hotel staff provided excellent service, with particular recognition due to Manager Ms Yang. She demonstrated exceptional hospitality by enthusiastically recommending numerous local dining gems and even took the initiative to mark key locations on our map. While the interior decor shows some signs of aging with slightly worn carpeting and retro-style furniture, the property maintains remarkable cleanliness. The professional service and largely compensated for the slightly dated facilities, creating an overall satisfying accommodation experience that we would gladly revisit.
