Z Garden was perfect for our stay in Dali. The rooms are huge and very comfortable with massive windows and lovely bathrooms. The location is great, very near the old town, restaurants and coffee shops but down a side street away from the craziness. And the staff are so so helpful, they will help you with whatever you need and will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. And a delicious free breakfast 10/10.

By far the best hotel during our stay in Yunnan. Great position, nice and clean rooms, good homemade breakfast. The hosts both know english and are very communicative and helpful. We felt very welcome.

All the needed facilities were provided and some extras, like an electric mattress cover and umbrellas. The hotel is located just 5 minutes on foot from the old town. There is a front desk, which made the check-in easy and provided support during our stay. The host showed concern about our well-being and was very responsive to our requests.

Beautiful property with brand new and gorgeous interior. A very beautiful golden retriever who lives there too will keep you company always. Locals are so friendly and very close to everything you could need, yet still quiet. They helped me hire a great mountain bike and I rode 75km/145km of Erhai lake, definitely worth doing!
