Nice Location, lovely rooms, everything was clean. The most outstanding was the Hotel staff: friendliest and loveliest people you can imagine.

I can't imagine why Booking.com gave this such a low rating, considering the reviews are nearly all good. And for me it was EXCELLENT 10 out of 10. Very comfortable, soft bed, clean, good price, pleasant staff and great location close to the train station.

Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre.

If you are looking to enjoy what Guilin has to offer, do not hesitate to book this hotel. Everything was excellent, and I was made to feel very welcome. The receptionist "Juuga(?)" was most polite, kind hearted and helpful; sending me various locations of spots to go (pagodas, flute reed cave, night markets, famous goose restaurant, lakes / elephant trunk hill) and helping me set up the Yangshuo cruise tour. I would not have enjoyed Guilin as much as I did had I not come to this hotel - I would've been clueless. I also have an extremely cut figure at the moment and am on a ketogenic diet, they prepared breakfasts for me as well to meet my needs, which was included in the price. The room was beautiful, cosy and warm.

Very nice hotel, excellent location and very helpful staff! The room is very well appointed and clean. The bed is super comfortable. Loved the shower and the bathtub, great laundry facilities and breathtaking view from the rooftop. I would definitely recommend it if you stay in Guilin!

The hotel is not very big and is a little bit dated, however the room was refurbished and very comfortable. The location was very convenient as well to see the local attractions in town.

Everything! The room was super beautiful with a nice view over the lake. All the propriety is really well maintained. Outside you can really relax and enjoy peaceful moments. Staff was amazing, super kind and helpful. Melody helped us to organize activities and also lunch and dinner. We really appreciate her kindness.

It was quiet. Close to the main shopping and riverfront. Good people and the host was kind and offered helpful suggestions and arranged an airport pickup. Definitely recommend to all those visiting or looking for a place to live in Guilin.

I travel a lot and have never had such a good hotel experience. Everything was perfect, from the free pick-up at the train station, where we got water right away, to the amazing atmosphere of the hotel and the luxurious rooms. The owner of the hotel knows how to make his guests feel at home, he helped and advised us with everything, he prepared an excellent breakfast every morning and on the day of departure he also gave us a card to another hotel room so that we could use the bathroom, since check-out was at 14:00 and we left at midnight. At the end of our stay, we also received a gift - excellent attitude, clearly the best accommodation of the entire stay in China. 100% recommended
