We were on a roundtrip through China and this hotel had the best staff from all variety of hotels where we have decided to stay. They offered us a ride from the city to hotel premises and were super helpful during our short stay. We have received tips how to spend our time, recommendation for local beverages and a help with getting timely to our next stop. Last but not least, it is worth to mention that during our stay, the hotel staff was supported by a very energetic kitten that was super playful and made our time there even better!

The location was at the foot of Huangshan, making it very easy to hike up and down the mountain in a single day. Staff were also friendly and polite. Hiking poles and raincoats were provided to make the hike up much easier. The hotel staff paid great attention to detail and I would certainly recommend this hotel for a visit to Huangshan!

The hotel is very new with contemporary designed interiors and we found the room and dining room bright and spacious. Staff were very helpful. They responded readily to online messaging in English during the booking. Loved the morning buffet. Had complimentary local snacks and water bottles in our room at check-in. The hotel referred a private minivan driver to transport us the 40 minutes from the Huangshan North train station to the hotel. We needed wechat to communicate to arrange with the driver. Or else you will need to use mandarin to speak with the driver. Accomodated our late check-in as we arrived later by fast train from Hong Kong. James X. was patient in explaining the simple booking process for us to hike Huangshan and he even personally walked with us for 5 minutes to the closeby Huangshan mountain tour booking and bus centre where you are transported to the cable car stations. Very close. Definitely would book this hotel again.

Nice place. Family business, not too big, really helpful staff, they arrange transportation to huang shan entrance free of charge, can help with tickets too. Nice breakfast starting from 5:30 so you can climb early (convenient in summer). Children loved the stones in the shower floor, especially after a long day hiking in the mountains !

Came here for a reunion with family from Australia, Malaysia and UK. Top quality high spec accommodation. Tastefully designed with traditoonal art and craft and at the same time also modern technology. Reception has a lounge where guests can play guitar or chinese instruments. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are siaeable. Toilets are high tech with heated seats and computerised features on a remote control. Help with laundry is available. Breakfast is a generous spread. With traditional homemade dishes like noodles and congee alongside fruits and buns. More than the excellent accommodation, the couple who run the hotel are kind and generous with their time and hospitality. They made us feel like family. We had an enjoyable time chatting over tea. Will definitely stay here when we visit again.

Super helpful hotel staff! They spoke fluent English and helped us to plan the hikes for 2 days around, their suggestions were great and time predictions were pretty accurate. The food in the restaurant was simple amazing! Recommend everyone to have lunch/dinner if you stay there.

Excellent location in the traditional part of the city where artisans, craftspeople and great food choice was right there. A famous location. Great in the early evening. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The manager was helpful with good English. I especially appreciated that she took the initiative to return my glasses when I ( idiotically) left them there.
