We had a great stay at Donghu. The hotel had a lot of charm, everything was clean. We had fresh water, tea and coffe everyday. We booked the business room which was spacious enough for us to stay 5 nights. The location is close to a lot of cute shops and restaurants. The metro is about a 15 min walk. I recommend to prepare some phrases in Chinese, as most of the staff doesn’t speak English. However we never had any issues, as they were very helpful.

The owner is the nices person ever and he helped us a lott. You have everything like drinkable water and spices and everything is very clean and comfy. You are also close to city centre and have multiple stores and restaurants near. I would recomend this accommondation to everyone and when I get back to Shanghai I'm definitely booking it again :)

Service staff were very helpful. Before check in, they stored our luggage then delivered it to our rooms once the room was ready. Then sent us walking guides for the neighbourhood. They were always easily contactable via wechat and answered all our questions. Location near Wukang Road, very pleasant to walk around. Many restaurants nearby. Rooms are fantastic. Very comfortable; I slept so well

This apartment is everything you need for a great stay in Shanghai! The biggest plus by far is the location, it is located in a beautiful tree lined street in the French Quarter of the city, with many shops, cafes and restaurants in the street. It is a really trendy neighbourhood with quick acces to metro lines and the rest of the city. The apartment is spacious and is situated in a beautiful old building in Shanghai. The bathroom is clean and all amenities are provided. Michael Lee is also super nice, provides you with everything you ask, and speaks perfect English. I stayed here a week and had a great time. I definitely recommend for solo or couple travelers. Don't miss out on this steal!

Staying at two homestays in a row after arriving in Shanghai was a great experience—both were excellent. Located right by Huaihai Road, it’s super convenient to get around. There are many former residences of famous people nearby, which are wonderful to explore slowly when you have time. There’s also a nice café in the area. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the kids absolutely loved the loft design.

The location is great, 5 min walk from Fuxing park. (A hotspot for nightclubds). All the pictures were accurate, and the room was very spacious. We had a great experience. Also things to be noted: - 5 min walk from a metro station. - Multiple authentic chinese restaurants with in 5-10 min walking distance. - Didi taxi takes you anywhere in the sity for 1-5€ - Beds were extremely comfortable and clean
