At the Ritz, all is great, as one would expect.
We had some issue with the room, and the issue was solved very professionally: this is how a superior 5 star hotel is supposed to work!
Good outdoor swimming pool.
Great breakfast (the breakfast at Ritz is the "benchmark" I use to compare breakfasts at other hotels).
Superior food quality and ample choice of both western and local food. Can also find india-style breakfast and fresh sushi.
Subway a 2 min walk, a food plaza at 3 min walk....

Staff are all friendly, attentive and helpful. It was a surprise that there was a electronic bidget in the bathroom which usually can only find at hotels in Japan. Buffet breakfast was worth to try especially I had been offered a 20% off. There were lots of variety and the food were delicious. I did not expect we could have ice cream for breakfast buffet!

First time in China and this hotel made my experience unforgettable. As soon as you walk into the lobby, you feel welcome. The hotel room was phenomenal, super spacious with a spectacular city view and an included mini-bar (we only realized it was included on the last night!).
The breakfast was amazing; it had any amount of Chinese and international specialties you could imagine. The price also included afternoon tea and soups in the evening, as well as laundry service.
The staff is very kind, super polite, and always willing to cater to your needs. Although many of the workers do not speak English, communication was never a problem. There was always a solution.
A thousand thanks to the hotel manager, Robin; he was always very attentive and gave us recommendations for places to visit, etc.
If you want to get to know Shenzhen and have an excellent experience, I recommend this hotel."
