The interior ir so beautiful and the amenities were still modern despite the ancient style. The owner and his son were also so friendly, and when we couldn't find the guesthouse, he picked us up!

The localtion was excellent, right on the edge of Tongli so very easy to get to water town, there was a lovely view from the window of the bridge and waterway. The host went out of their way to help us locate a restaurant that could accommodate my nephew's nut allergy. Highly recommended
Located inside Tongli Ancient Town, Tongli 1917 Best South Boutique Inn is next to the Jiayin Hall, and is a 5-minute stroll to Retreat and Reflection Garden.

Located in the very centre of the ancient town right on the bank of the channel. The hotel is residing in an ancient house, very beautiful and authentic. Clean and nicely designed and very helpful staf. All was perfect. To get there be ready you must walk from North parking lot 10minutes. Thank you for the nice experience.

This is a new, modern place. Very close to the entry gate for the old city.
Very quiet and very comfortable.
We enjoyed it very much.

This is our favourite hotel in China, the bed is the most comfortable and it's so clean and convenient to get around Suzhou old town.
The cafe/chinese bakery set up at the reception is amazing, i literally asked the front desk what kind of mattress they used for the hotel cos I want one as well!
Fantastic experience and we will be back.
