The staff was very nice and approachable. The whole hotel was spotless. Breakfast was very good, with fresh food. It is a 2 minute walking distance to the nearest tram. Lovely experience.

Second time we stayed here and would always come again. Ambience is lovely, breakfast good, staff very friendly, good location, out of the city centre but very accessible to Cologne. Views over the river are just lovely. Really clean and feels like home

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was simply perfect – from the overall comfort to the smallest details. I especially loved the room with its spacious terrace and incredibly comfortable bed with an orthopedic mattress – I’ve never slept better! The staff were absolutely wonderful – always friendly, professional, and ready to help with any question or issue. Their attention to detail and genuine care made the stay even more enjoyable. We had a really nice and comfortable stay at this charming, family-owned hotel in Rodenkirchen. The owner is incredibly friendly and made the experience feel personal—definitely an interesting conversation partner! The breakfast was good, served in a cozy dinery, and the room was decent and comfortable. The location is fantastic—Rodenkirchen feels like its own small town, with low buildings, plenty of shops, restaurants, and a beautiful promenade along the Rhine. It’s also very easy to get to the city center, with just a 20-25 minute ride by tram. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Cologne!

The property was great value, safe and impeccably clean. The staff on arrival were amazing and so helpful and kind. Perfect overnight stay after the theme parks for a family of four with two teenagers. Equipped with everything so we could cook ourselves breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend.

Staying in this hostel has been amazing! The staff is young and super nice and my room was perfect: double bed and super privacy due to the curtains. The toilets and the showers were always clean and the common area is very cozy and you can get free coffee or tea. The hostel is located in the heart of the city centre, 5 minutes walking to the Christmas markets. I honestly think that for this price and this location you can’t really find something better in Cologne!

The hotel was in an excellent location - very close to Cologne train station and the old town. The hotel was very clean and modern. We were upgraded to a loft room which was a nice surprise! The unexpected sandwiches, coffee and juice for breakfast were delicious!! The front staff were friendly and helpful. We would come again when in Cologne.
