Beautifully fitted out and decorated common area and rooms. The suite I booked turned out to be bigger than I expected, and more importantly is very cozy and comfortable, especially the bed. The suite also has balcony with a stunning view of the river and Hiedelberg's old town from across the river. It even has a gym and an outdoor jacuzzi with lovely views located at the higher elevation of the hotel backyard. Because the property is located across the river from the old town, generally it is quieter as it is away from the hustle & bustle of the tourists. Nevertheless, it is only 5 minutes away on foot from the main bridge that gets you to the old town. The staff are genuinely friendly & informative - Luca is very efficient & accommodative, while Sofie is always welcoming. They kindly arranged for a pick-up from another small village I was at prior to the stay and the arrangement was hassle-free.

Everything was perfect. Great location and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in the garden room which was very comfortable and spacious.

I had to check in late, and the staff assisted me alot even when I had to make changes to my booking. The facilities were also very good, like the private female toilet and free coffee and bread in the kitchen. Overall, the vibe was really cosy and I enjoyed myself alot although I wasnt there for too long
