Staff were friendly and helpful. The place was quiet and close to the Herkules fountain. We had viewed this the day we booked in but the weather was pouring with rain. We stayed out in the rain with plastic raincoats to watch the water cascade at the Bergpark but decided to call it a day without seeing the rest of the park. Staying at this place we were able to go back on a sunny day and view the remainder of the sights. Not that if you have a plug in hybrid or a BEV all parking spaces here have charge outlets.

1. We booked two rooms. One of the rooms was forgotten in the booking process, but they gave us what was available, which was a huge suite with an amazing window and private entrance. 2. I left my wallet in the safe, and they found it, I came back to get it and they gave us the wallet in a sealed bag, you can tell their handling of items is very secure. 3. Breakfast was huge and they make the finest and thinnest omelettes that I didn't know were possible. 4. Shuttle bus right in front of hotel, so unbelievably convenient. 5. Family loved it and kept saying this was the best place out of our entire Germany roadtrip.

The room was clean and well-equipped. The hotel is right next to the station "Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe" and thus optimal for travelers. Staff was very friendly.

Excellent hotel into the side of forest. Walking distance to Hercules,Lowenburg castle, and Wilhelmshohe palace, for someone who likes hikking. Room was clean and really cosy. Safe parking available.
