Its a huge resort, with a lot of activities options and the hotel is very clean. The staff in the hotel is very helpful and polite, regardless of what time you contact them, they will assist. The animation team is the best, very active, friendly and fun and has entertaining shows every day and night. Definitely recommend staying in this hotel while in Hurghada.

Very nice all inclusive resort with a lot of restaurants to choose from. You have a choice of pools to swim in and ofcourse the beach. They also have shows at night in the Show bar. Ereen from reception was super helpful during our stay! Highly recommended.

Located at the 4 km long Makadi Bay, the SUNRISE Royal Makadi Aqua Resort has an oriental flair.

It was our second stay at this hotel. It was even better than first time one year ago, which was also exceptional. The hotel is clean, well maintained. I want to appreciate especially the staff - everybody is so kind, smiling, helpful. The food in main restaurant is tasty, waiters and cooks are hardworking, We visited also other restaurants for dinners that were for free -mediterranean, italian, asian, mexican -the food and service was excellent. The pools in march were heated -family pool, aquapark pool. Aquapark is well organised, the staff is doing very good job. The beach is nice. The room was spacious , wifi is everywhere.

Super clean and modern, the most friendly and helpful staff. We upgraded to a swim up suite and it was the best decision, especially having the people at the posh club take care of us.

We had an incredible week at this hotel in Hurghada! From the moment we arrived, Ahmed at reception made us feel so welcome—he was unbelievably kind and helpful throughout our stay. The Amaraya restaurant team deserves a huge shout-out! The food was absolutely unreal, with something for every taste, and the cleanliness was on another level. Every meal was a pleasure, thanks to their hard work and attention to detail. One of the biggest highlights was how spotless the entire hotel was. I have never seen such a clean hotel before—huge respect to the cleaning teams for keeping everything in perfect condition! There’s always something to do here, with tons of activities to keep you entertained. But if you’re looking for relaxation, there are plenty of pools and snack bars where you can unwind in peace. A big thank you to the hotel manager for an amazing experience. We truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at this resort and would highly recommend it to families. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming specially (mahmoud fattouh) at the reception making us feel right at home. Our kids absolutely loved the water aqua park ,it kept them entertained for hours every day! The VR games were also a huge hit, beach was okay, night entertainment was good as well and we really enjoyed the spa there. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and organized. A perfect mix of relaxation and fun Special thanks to Ahmed shawky and mahmoud fattouh at the reception and mohamed shehata the life guard at the swimming pool, he was very friendly and looked after the kids the entire time.
