Check-in set the tone: reception was professional and genuinely warm. The lobby is beautiful, with a cinematic theme that nods to the building’s past. Classic movie-star photos and even a “red carpet” down the stairs. Our room was spacious and spotless; each room is dedicated to a film star (ours was Kirk Douglas), and the mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was rich and varied with lovely service. Tasty options and made-to-order omelets. In the evenings, the dining room turns into a restaurant, which is convenient because there aren’t many dining options in the area at night. The underground paid parking is very handy (best to reserve in advance).

Everything is new, clean and modern! Vibe in the hotel is really good, rooftop pool is a nice addition. Location a bit more outside the center but very good connection with the bus or walking about 25min. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

The room and the bed were huge and super comfy. The breakfast was decent and they had different food every day which is always a plus. The walk to the beach or old town was a bit far, but not too bad. The city is very walkable and there is good public transport. The upside was that the location was very quiet and close to the train station.

Great place and buses every hour to san sebastian. The room was clean and comfortable and staff fantastic. The cider restaurant is a MUST. Great fun experience, all you can drink for 6 euros and hearty portions of traditional food. Even better no taxi required to take you home!
