From the moment we arrived, there was a wonderful, calming aroma. The staff at reception were very helpful and genuinely pleased to see us. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean as was the whole Hotel. Breakfast was amazing! Even if you didn't book, you could pay 10euros 50cents for breakfast that had it all. I only wished I was staying longer. One of the best Hotels I have ever stayed in. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic stay, even better than expected. We loved our stay in Salamanca and definitely want to come back again. A large part of that is due to Hospes Palacio de San Esteban. It is a historic property next to a monastery in the very heart of Salamanca, but due to the monastery it is very quiet.
There is an outdoor pool, which was great in the July heat to cool down after we arrived. Staff was really nice and helpful, valet took care of our car and charged it as well for our trip to Madrid the next day. We explored Salamanca by foot from the hotel which is really easy. Breakfast is good as well.

We are a family of 5 (2 parents + 3 kids) really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It offers the comfort of a typical hotel with friendly staff, and each room has a small kitchen if you prefer to cook your own meals. The hotel's location is perfect – it's situated in a historic city center, close to all the shops and restaurants, but it's not too noisy. The rooms are very clean, although not very spacious. However, the furniture is arranged cleverly, making the stay comfortable. The view from the balcony overlooks a plaza surrounded by historic buildings, which is quite lovely. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.
