I stayed at the Som Hostel for almost 2 weeks, through 4 different renovations, and I have only to thank them for that time! The location is unbeatable. The space is very well adapted and you can tell they have everything quite organized. The staff is very kind and they take good care of everything. The shared kitchen works well, the rooms and common area are comfortable and the bathrooms clean. Also, the people in the hostel are quite sympathetic, and you feel (if you stay there long enough) that you are part of a small community. But my high review is because, everyday, I saw the staff actively fixing any problems that arose with efficiency and kindness. From a broken showerhead that was replaced before the next day to issues with my free booking cancellation request, the staff of the Som was unbeatable in their proactiveness and adaptability. In addition, everyday I saw all the spaces be cleaned, and with enough regularity the fridge was emptied of spoiled/abandoned food. Thank you to everyone who works at the Som for this wonderful time! I'll be sure to recommend it to everyone :) P.S. Don't forget to put your checkout date on your food stickers, otherwise they'll have to throw them out!

This is my first to stay in Hostels but, The place is quite, clean, bed is cozy and so comfortable, I highly recommend this place it was amazing.

We liked the location-close to the oldtown, but also plenty of places to eat or shop just aprind the corner, the main Mercado also 5-8 min on foot.We liked the size of the appartment and the perfect air conditioning.We liked a smooth chek-in and check-out process.
