The host was so friendly and accomodating, about 25 minutes stroll to downtown and the place was clean. The room was a beautiful room in wonderful colors, with view to an outside training track, which did not effect my stay in any way. Breakfast was very good. I would definetly recommend it and would come back another time.

The welcome at the reception team was very professional, friendly and well trained. I used to train staff pharmaceutical industry and can therefore spot when a team has been trained well. The team speaks several languages, including Scandinavian, English, Portuguese, German. The common areas are fabulous. We have stayed in a number of hotels in Bordeaux. Most often the rooms are relatively small and the common areas are tiny. At Burdigala the common space is large and divided into several smaller areas for intimacy. The location is perfect. We commuted from the airport by tram, which is a few minutes away from the hotel.

The service. Guillaume was an absolute gem. He couldn’t do enough for us. we loved the common area to sit and have a wine or yummy breakfast and room was quiet, comfortable and very clean.

From check-in to check-out, our stay was excellent. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to all of the things we wanted to do. The room was comfortable, the bed excellent, the AC just what we needed after spending long days walking in the heat of mid August. The gym was modest, but provided just what I needed. The ironing room was a surprise and much appreciated. The staff were extremely helpful.
