I really like how quiet it is in the room. I definitely get the privacy I need, and instead of feeling like a hostel, it feels more like a capsule hotel. I’m staying in the all-women’s room, and everyone has been so respectful toward each other when it comes to noise. The bathroom is clean, the staff are very nice, and the kitchen has everything you need.

Mama Shelter Lille is located in the centre of Lille, a 4-minute walk from Lille Flandres Train and Metro Stations, as well as a 7-minute walk from Lille Europe Train Station.

The property is great. The room was modern and clean and very comfortable. The staff are so welcoming, they can not do enough for you. And the restaurant and bar are amazing. The location was spot on for us as we came in via Eurostar and the hotel was a five minute walk from the station.

La Valiz is located opposite Lille’s train station and 2 minutes’ walk from the Euralille shopping centre. Nouveau Siècle Convention Centre is 800 metres away.

The breakfast was great. Lots of options in both hot and cold categories. Initialy I was unhappy that my room did not face the front but it was actually fine. High ceiling and big windows looked out onto a pleasant view of other building. Nice and quiet
