Very interesting interior, if you're into comic art, this is a must visit. I just love spending time here, it's a hidden gem for "BD"-lovers. Staff is extremely welcoming and pleasant, breakfast is just right to start the day. 12 minutes from Gare de l'Est (good money exchange right in front of it), Metro just around the corner, restaurants too, but if you stroll south down the Bd de Sébastopol, you reach the shopping zone, the Seine and all those superb views within half an hour. I'm sure to come back.
Bear in mind this is an old hotel, modernised and fantastically redesigned, but still the elevator has the size of making two users into lovers by the time they get out again and some bathrooms remind you of the times you didn't think abbout losing weight...

The hotel is wonderfully decorated. It is very small, with an old-fashioned elevator, small rooms, but still very nice! The bed is very high and it is not easy to get into it, but it is comfortable, with fragrant bed linen. The bathroom has everything for personal hygiene - even a toothbrush and toothpaste, for men - shaving accessories. There is shampoo, conditioner, even perfume. Towels - thick and fragrant. The shower - so comfortable and I had one with a window. Breakfast - as in France - very tasty.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean. Beautiful. Calm. Extremely tasty breakfast (bakery, fruits, berries, ham, cheese etc. Very big assortment).
Very nice and polite receptionists and all personnel.
Perfect location. There are a lot of very good small stores with local brands, restaurants and cafes.
I left all my jewelry, passport and cash in the room after check-out. The manager keep all my things and return me with a glass of champagne and some gold bracelet and necklace, that were not mine. So if you are that person who left jewelry in the room 303 before 19.09.2023, you can call the manager.
Thank you very much all personnel for my rest in this hotel.

Perfect location, easy to access. Short walk few minutes from Metro, corner shop at the end of the street. Great communication from hosts.
Small compact accommodation, had everything we needed for 1 adult and 2 teens. Very comfortable double bed and double sofa bed - perfect for sleeping. Modern kitchen and bathroom . Some condiments and basic supplies also provided
