We were lucky to stay on their very first day of hosting, and they couldn't have made us feel more welcome, especially after our original host cancelled last minute. The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I’d highly recommend booking here for a warm, reliable stay right in the heart of Edinburgh. Everything is brand new and the rooms are well equipped with things like coffee machines, dishwashers, and a washing machine. The rooms have air con, which was a welcome bonus. Location-wise this place is perfect as it's walking distance from the station and plenty of other attractions and activities around the city. I can't fault it!

Spotless! Floor, tables, beds all clean. Got Netflix.
Location is perfect. Not too far to Princess Street. 15mins walk. A lot of surrounding shops as well.
We parked at Albany Street Lane carpark, which can be tricky to find when it's dark. But its just behind the apartment,, slightly hidden inside on the right.
House is amazing. The interior deco is so beaitiful. Really enjoyed our time here.

I stayed for 3 nights at Silvia’s place, Tartan Accommodation, and had a truly wonderful experience. Silvia was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout my stay—always making sure I had everything I needed. The place itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully kept, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was also perfect for exploring Edinburgh. There’s a Sainsbury’s Local just nearby, along with plenty of great eating spots and charming cafés within walking distance. The bus stop and the tram to the airport are also very close, which made getting around and travelling to and from the city incredibly convenient. The staff were extremely friendly. I was able to store my luggage there for the day as well. That was a great help seeing as I had a late night flight.
Good breakfast. There are many different options to choose from.

Very convenient location with bus station and train station within walking distance. Many eateries nearby and there is even a Tesco Express round the corner. Room is spacious and nicely decorated. Host is responsive and helpfully let me drop off my suitcase before check-in time. Highly recommend!

Each day new bedclothes, cleaning service, towels. Availability of hairdresser, teapot, tea bags, coffee, milk. Shower is working perfectly, heating system as well. Close to the bus and tram stations.
