A charming hotel tucked in a residential area which guaranteed a quiet good night's sleep!
Wonderful Scottish cooked breakfast was the highlight of the trip. Nothing to complain about except the two flights of stairs to haul up my suitcase!!!

Our stay was simply amazing, it's located in a perfect area for what we wanted to get out of Edinburgh. Just by the base of Arthurs seat and with 10 minutes to old town. Our stay at The Scott was great!

Our host, Louise was very helpful and friendly, since we had a problem with our hired car. She offered us even her mobile to contact the car rental company.
Each day she gave us a new bag with some snacks and tee and coffee bags. The room was clean, nice bathroom and the beds were comfortable. Everything well maintained.
We had the superior double room on the backside, very noise free room. The only shortcoming, the room was a bit small as usual in UK. 14 m2 is not that much 😉. So, if you need more space, book the “Superior double or two bedrooms”.
On the backside of the guest house, you can park your car, enough space, just be carefully driving your car through the somewhat tight entryway.
So, all in all we were very satisfied.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect - just a pleasant 20-minute walk to the city center. The accommodation was spotlessly clean throughout. We were particularly impressed by the host's friendliness and genuine hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a personal touch!

Everything was perfect. The staff were really kind and made us feel welcomed. The room was charming, super cozy and comfortable, also loved the style and decoration. We had a little garden we really enjoyed. The room was equipped with a kettle, tea and biscuits, which we really appreciated. Everything was clean and the room was always warm.

I liked the size of the room as it was spacious and was very clean. The bed was super comfortable and provided an excellent night's rest. The bathroom was very clean and had the necessary toiletries. I especially liked the proximity of the hotel to many tourist attractions. It was also close to many restaurants and gift shops. Some attractions were as close as a 7 minutes walk away from the hotel walking at a relatively slow pace. The staff was very courteous and even provided information on options for attractions to visit. The hotel was very cozy. I would recommend this hotel to solo, business and family travelers.
