My son Max and I had a magical stay at The Balmoral. The staff were just wonderful. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay extra special for Max (age 9). Our trip to Edinburgh was a special treat because he's a huge Harry Potter fan. He absolutely loved Edinburgh and all it's Potter lore but the stay in the Balmoral was by far the highlight of his trip because of how kind everyone was to us (as well as it being a beautiful luxurious hotel of course).

We were lucky to stay on their very first day of hosting, and they couldn't have made us feel more welcome, especially after our original host cancelled last minute. The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I’d highly recommend booking here for a warm, reliable stay right in the heart of Edinburgh. Everything is brand new and the rooms are well equipped with things like coffee machines, dishwashers, and a washing machine. The rooms have air con, which was a welcome bonus. Location-wise this place is perfect as it's walking distance from the station and plenty of other attractions and activities around the city. I can't fault it!

We had a fantastic stay at RIGH Residences! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were particularly impressed by the quality of everything in our room—from the plush towels to the cozy bed throws, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The amenities were top-notch, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It is a very practical and much appreciated idea to have a small laundromat in the hotel where you can do your own washing. We also loved the complimentary coffee and confectioneries in the lounge area; it was a delightful touch that added to our overall experience. RIGH Residences truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!
