Anna the hoste was very welcoming. The room was clean and tidy as was the other facilities. She had a good knowledge of the area and was able to help us with buses so we could easily get to the city. There was a bus stop just outside the house and buses came every 15 minutes. Parking was free. The bed was comfortable and the house was warm. My sister and I had a lovely time and would stay again!

Large comfortable rooms with comfy beds. All the staff at this hotel were friendly & helpful. The city easily accessed by public transport conveniently located out the front of the hotel & takes about 20 minutes. After a cold rainy day out sightseeing we enjoyed the gym & the heated pool with spa. Another plus for this hotel was the attached restaurant serving tasty meals which were well priced. The staff here were great helping with allergens such as coeliac disease.

In the Portobello district of Edinburgh, close to Portobello Beach, The Porty Beach House features a garden and a washing machine.

The property was in a great location with access to the beach and easy access to public transport which took you into Edinburgh’s city centre. Steph and her family were attentive and responded to our questions/ needs throughout the stay. They really added to the experience of our trip.
