The friendly and attentive staff. Welcoming drink was champagne. We had a stench issue with the room that we booked and we were immediately upgraded to a suite, an initiative from the hotel ! Thank you Rixos. The indoor pool and spa facilities for guests were amazing. Breakfast was superb.

Excellent location with beautiful seaview, bakery and supermaket round the corner, still silent in the flat. Ca. 10 min walk to the beach and ca. 2 km walk to the old town. The washing machine was very useful.

The services were superb. Our family of 4 got upgraded to a corner suite with two bathrooms. The room and the balcony had the best ocean view. Everything was clean and modern. It's really cool that there's an elevator in the rock that takes you all the way down to a private beach. We were gifted a wine voucher which we used to taste 4 glasses of local wines. The staff made effort to accommodate our vegan diet at the breakfast. Their welcome snacks in room were all vegan and free of common allergens. I love that there are racks of books in the dining room for you to read. The hotel locates outside of the old town, makes it more quiet and private. We walked to the main touristy area and found that very manageable. You can also take a bus which has stops right outside the hotel. I'm happy to trade distance for the beauty and comfort this hotel provides though. I will recommend all my friends who comes to Dubrovnik to stay here.

The house is located in a quiet place with bus stop, supermarket and restaurant nearby. We could park our car in the yard, which is very valuable in Dubrovnik.
